From the first to last evening spent at the Sunflower Lodge, it really was a great experience. Excellent Mine Hosts in Isla and John, nothing too much trouble, excellent well appointed room, and the Breakfast was oh so good. Would for sure recommend the Sunflower Lodge, and at some point hope to make a return visit. Once again thank you so very much. Malcolm Stelfox

Lovely and reasonably clean hotel, the staff who served us were helpful, and it had incredible location close enough to be near the town centre. The breakfast was tasty with a good choice of outstanding options.

The Beautiful King Room offered a cozy atmosphere with chic decor and high-quality furnishings. The complimentary biscuits and tea-making facilities added a nice touch to the experience.
The pressure in the shower could have been stronger, although it got the job done. If mobility is an issue, the stairs might pose a challenge as they lead up to the rooms. During the day, an annoying noise from the cupboard next to the bed made for a tough nap, though it thankfully didn't disturb sleep at night.

The room was spacious and super clean. I adored those fluffy pillows-almost too good to leave! Free parking was a bonus too!
The room seemed like a sauna on the first night. Note to self, remember to put the windows down next time, unless I fancy a hot yoga class!

Couple seeking a comfortable stay
First night I arrived, I was greeted by this lovely couple, they treated me like family. They even had a sewing kit in the room which came in handy when my shirt needed a quick fix.
It felt a bit pricey, but honestly, it was worth it for what I got.
